Before founding Designlounge with her partner Michael, Kathryn worked in diverse advertising agencies such as Bloom FCA!, Publicis and the Mingo Group, where she helped to develop campaigns for small and large companies. At Designlounge she uses her artistic talent and attention to detail to create smart “down to earth” communications in print and on the web, including illustration when needed.

Her work can be seen on her website at www.kathrynporter.com. Kathryn is a member of the “Art Students League of New York.”

Accolades
The most important reward for us is that our clients are happy with our work. And sometimes they express it with very kind words.
“For a complex, multi-service agency like Good Shepherd Services, it is a challenge to convey all the many facets of our programs and services. Designlounge provides the perfect blend of creativity, innovation, and organization that is essential to helping us produce clear and compelling communications materials that accurately reflect the size and scope of our work.”

Nicole Boisvert
Assistant Direcor of Development, Good Shepherd Services
“ICTJ and Designlounge have worked together since 2004, when Michael Wiemeyer began serving as the organization’s lead design consultant. Designlounge provided important leadership in the conceptualization, detailed design and production of four annual reports, a corporate branding package, the organization’s website and monthly newsletter as well as brochures and specialized reports—more than 25 projects in all.”

Robert Ruby
Communciations Director, International Center for Transitional Justice
