Every year the financial report focuses on a specific theme that demonstrates forward-thinking and prudence followed by detailed and extensive information about the financial situation of the University.
Sustainability is more than a concept at Yale. Designlounge worked closely with Yale's Office of Sustainability to learn about the initiatives to bring down the University's Greenhouse Gas emissions by installing the latest solar and fuel cell technologies, efficient wind turbines and recycling programs, as well as by bringing new buildings up to LEED standards. Designlounge collaborated with the writer Lisa Dellwo who was able make the scientific connections transparent to the reader. The publications informs in clear language, as well as through images and charts about the emission reduction goal to be achieved by 2020.
